Maple House Psychology uses current and researched psychological methods tailored to the individual’s needs. These include:

• Solution-focussed therapy
• Motivational interviewing

• Interpersonal therapy
• Creative therapies

We also provide therapy for individuals under Workcover, NDIS, Veterans Affairs, Defence Force, and Employee Assistance Programs.

Assessment

Assessment

Maple House Psychology provides assessment in several areas using the most current assessment tools. Our assessments are tailored to the individual’s needs and concerns. Examples of these include:
 •  Cognitive assessments
 •  Learning assessments (querying specific learning difficulties)
 •  NDIS functional assessments
 •  DSM 5 assessments (including adult autism and adhd)
 •  Bariatric surgery suitability assessments

How do I access an assessment?
If you are interested in getting an assessment underway – just call our admin and let them know what you are looking for. They can advise you the next step to getting the assessment done.
You can also talk to your GP about the assessment needs (such as for ADHD, etc.). Your child’s paediatrician may also request the assessment.

Individual Therapy

NDIS

Maple House Psychology provides assessments and therapy to NDIS participants who are self-managed or third-party agency managed.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide services to those who are NDIS managed at this time.

The assessments conducted are often for accessing NDIS and in NDIS-requested assessments, such as functional and cognitive assessments.
